Budget car rental las vegas blvd2/7/2024 When the guy delivering the car returned, he slowly sauntered into the office and casually mentioned that one of the reflectors on the car was damaged. 8am came and went and our car arrived at the location at 835am. So we had no other choice but to sit and wait until the car arrived. Although we'd made our reservation the Wednesday prior, they weren't prepared. Unfortunately for us, our car wasn't there yet. This location was a NIGHTMARE!! We arrived at 7:55am for an 8am reservation because of an EXTREMELY tight schedule we had to stick to. Just because you don't recognize it as a regular card doesn't mean you can argue with her (guess what? I was right and the payment processed.)!! Telling a customer she cannot pay with the MasterCard she hands you is not the appropriate response especially after she explains she used it just weeks before. "You don't get an upgrade" is not the appropriate response when my confirmation email CLEARLY states I qualify for a free upgrade. Your company needs to train all associate on customer care and the correct way to solve an issue. I was not planning to use your company again after my first issue, and definitely will NEVER use it again now, however I needed a rental on short notice and it was the only company with availability during the holiday weekend. I will phone corporate again during business hours on this matter. He argued with me multiple times in our brief, yet disgusting interaction. He was extremely rude to me about my reservation and then my payment method. This time by a sale associate without a nametag. ![]() The first was by a supervisor and I called corporate to complain. This is the second time in 3 weeks I've been treated poorly by a representative in your Las Vegas Airport facility. She told us that we have to go there and pick up those two cars by ourselves. Her manager told her she had 2 available regular cars and also 2 luxury cars that they can upgrade us if they needed to. She called the manager and manager surprised why she didn`t make more phone call after her call about 2 hrs ago. After several attempt from me to ask her to make a call then finally she agreed to make a call but she said she won`t give me any written document stating she didn`t have car even her manager tells her to do so. I forced her to contact her manager then I can talk with her manager, explain the situation and receive that statement. I asked her and she refused to give me written note. They recommended to go to Avis and rent new car or extend my rental car with Avis and Budget will pay the $400 difference but customer service mentioned that I have to receive a note from this location states that they were not able to provide me my rental car. ![]() then I would go to airport, drop off Avis`s car and wait to receive my rental car from Budget and not pay penalty or extra day to Avis because of not receiving car from Budget at the expected time.Īsked her to rent another car for me from Avis which is sister company of Budget. I asked her if she can arrange pick up for me at the airport or transfer my pick up at the airport. I was renting another car from Avis and supposed to return it after pick up car from budget. She 1-2 phone calls and said she can not provide us any car at that time. I asked her to call other locations to find availability and possibility for us to pick our cars at those locations. hey have been 3 customer before me and the receptionist told them she does not have any car and do not know when she will have car for us. I noticed that they do not have any car available. I arrived 30 min before the pick up time. I have booked a car for my vacation about 2 months prior to my pick up. I do not recommend this location to anyone. I can not warm people enough to avoid this company. Now I have disputed this with my credit card. One month later I check my credit card to see they did infact charge me 150.00!!!! Omg I'm so beyond furious. Now I'm told that they are responsible and not to worry about this. One week later again I have to call Budget to follow up. Again treated extremely poorly to be told they will have to investigate. I spend over an hour on the phone trying to straighten this mess out. Then 4 months later I got a ticket for a bill for 150.00 for their ticket with a warning that they are going to use my credit card on file. We made her copy the ticket and sign off that we gave it to her. When we returned the vehicle the person at the counter was very rude and dismissive. ![]() They assured us it was they fault and they would take care of this. The courthouse told us it's not our ticket it's budgets. After a very long wait we find out that Budget rented us a vehicle with expired tags. ![]() So it was late when we got the ticket so the next day we took time out of our honeymoon to go to the courthouse. We rented a Ford Explorer while in Las Vegas.
